Wash Your Hands to THAXTED

I am so tired of singing or thinking of “Happy Birthday” while washing my hands.  Here’s a much more satisfyting alternative, and written by a great composer too!  Don’t hymn tunes have such great names?  THAXTED is one of my favorites, written by Gustav Holst.  One setting uses text by William Witla, “Let Streams of Living Justice”.

Sing the first or last two lines of any verse that suits you, according to your affect.  I transposed the music down a bit more for my comfort that anything else.  Try it!
